Places of Interest - Meeting for Liverpool!

Dear Society members and friends,

We are meeting this Friday, 10 a.m. - in the Loafers area of Goldsmiths College,
to discuss our trip to Liverpool on the 19th and 20th of April.
We need to outline:
- how many people will be involved
- the coordination of filming crews, interviewers, photographers involved
- travel, accomodation..

Concerning the thematic, let's keep a humble aim - after all we are only staying for a few days.
But let's learn from our elders and take a bit of a Cinema - Verité approach (if we have to label it), it reduces costs and definitely reduces the scope of our ambitions in an effective way.

Above all it will leave Liverpudlians more freedom to choose their own 'style' for answers.

What do they think and how do they feel about their city, now floating under E.U. skies under the slogan "Liverpool, European City of Culture 2008"?

pictures from Liverpool will soon be accessible - maybe on a separate blog - and we will spend the summer editing our audiovisual footage...

All the best,

the Anthropology Society

- Thanks again to Alexis and the film society!
